Section 1

Abbreviation, Extension and Commencement

(1) The name of this Act shall be “Act Relating to Land in Jhora Region, 2028”.
(2) This Act shall be applicable in Jhora areas of Morang, Sunsari and Jhapa districts.
(3) This Act shall come into effect in the designated Jhora area from the date specified by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
